Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the U.S. for more than 10 years. She was part as captain of both the US Olympic Female Gymnastics Women's Team, Final Five (2012) and Final Five (2016). In the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold both on the team floor and the individual competitions. Bronze was taken by using the balance bar. She was the only American to have won many Olympic medals. She won the gold for team at the 2016 Olympics that also made her and Gabby Douglas first Americans to be the first pair of gold medalists back-to-back. Additionally, she won silver medals at the individual all-around and for floor exercise. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics from gymnastics competition. Also, she was a one of the gold medal winning American teams at two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began in the age of 2 and her favorite event is floor workouts. Aly works with The Uniting Against Lung Cancer Organization to honor and remember her grandmother. She is planning to create a profession in fashion. She would also like to increase the length of her leotards and socks. Fierce is a new book she will release later this year.
